Roddy Doyle, The Van. I loved this book - it was absolutely hilarious. Two laid-off irishmen start up a "chipper van" - fast food on wheels. It was actualy a sweet story, even filled with rancid grease and profanity.

hi Gwenny, I just wanted you to know that I check out your blog. You're so cute. Matt
Hey Gwen, I stop by every now and then too... although I spend most of my blogging time on xanga :-) I'd comment here, but most of the books you review aren't ones I've read :-D I tend to travel more in the Robert Jordan, Margaret Weis, Terry Brooks, etc. circles. Jenelle
A book log so I don't forget names of authors and books when I talk to my mom. Now I'm in the research years of my training; so theoretically I have a little more time for reading. The reality seems to be that the lab is all-consuming and comfort reading has been the order of the day.
